WHO ARE WE?
About us
Leanne is the founder of Legend Family History with 40 years of experience in genealogy research. Her passion for genealogy began when she was 16 for a high school project. Exploring the historical archives of her local library and finding a treasure trove of information on microfilm at the family history centre awakened a deep desire to know more. Her own family tree has 13,453 individuals (and counting). The journey is never over, as new records become available and brick walls are finally broken down.
Leanne’s professional background is in Information Technology with many years of experience as a project manager, relationship manager and previously as an analyst/programmer. She has excellent communication skills and extensive experience in planning, research and analysis, as well as report writing.
By nature, Leanne is extremely organised and methodical in her work with exceptional attention to detail. Being absolutely committed to each project, she will never leave a stone unturned to achieve results. One of the key elements she has learned from genealogy research is to think outside the box and see each situation from a different perspective whenever a roadblock is encountered.
